San Isidro Invests ARS$1.855 Billion in Sports Infrastructure

The Municipality of San Isidro has made a significant investment in sports infrastructure, awarding contracts worth over ARS$1.855 billion for the renovation of fields at its municipal sports facilities.

According to the Argentine News Agency (NA), Public Tender 79/2024, for the "provision of materials and labor for new football and hockey fields at Municipal Sports Fields No. 1, 2, and 4," was awarded on April 3, 2025.

The firms selected to carry out the project were Instalectro S.A. and Demoliciones Mitre S.R.L., with a total combined amount of ARS$1,855,983,560.29. The administrative process included signing commencement acts on April 25, 2025, and included a 20% financial advance to facilitate the procurement of materials and ensure the economic balance of the contract.

During execution, the municipal executive recognized cost variations that led to price readjustments of 6.65% for Instalectro and 6.55% for Demoliciones Mitre. Additionally, additional work amounting to ARS$82,151,260.65 was approved to cover tasks not originally foreseen.
